SANJIESAN LICENSING / Partner documents
Prepare the PDF that will actually leave the team
A working partner deck may contain internal notes, abandoned layouts and commercial details intended for a smaller group. Prepare a separate sharing copy for the named recipient. Keep the working source available in its controlled location, and inspect the exact file that will be attached rather than relying on its filename.
Decide the recipient’s task before exporting
Write down what the recipient needs to decide and which pages support that decision. Exclude internal alternatives from the sharing source where appropriate, instead of hiding them behind decorative shapes. Use fictional placeholders while testing the workflow. Give the sharing copy a distinct name and revision so it cannot be mistaken for the editable master or for a document approved for a different audience.
Use a documented removal workflow
Adobe’s current Acrobat instructions distinguish selecting content for redaction, applying it and choosing whether to sanitize hidden information. Follow the documentation for the actual tool and version available to your team. Do not claim that a visual cover or a single screenshot proves removal. If the document requires specialist confidentiality handling, have the responsible person review the procedure before it is used with real material.
Reopen the final attachment and record the check
Inspect the resulting sharing file in the receiving workflow. Review its pages, visible comments, attachments and any relevant document-information checks agreed by your team. Compare it with the intended page list. Record who performed the check and which exact revision was checked, without publishing private contents in the log. Only send through the project’s approved recipient and delivery route.
