SANJIESAN LICENSING / BUYING GUIDE

Choose an interactive prototype or a working page by the handoff

A clickable preview can communicate an idea, while a working page must carry out the promised behaviour in its intended environment. Both can be appropriate commissions at different stages. Describe the handoff before requesting a quote so the provider knows whether the team is testing an interaction or preparing something people can use.

Write one complete visitor task

Choose a bounded task such as comparing two views and closing the detail, or finding a related guide and returning to the collection. Include the starting point and the result. Keep imagined accounts, payments and supplier connections outside the task unless the real project has explicitly scoped them. A prototype can use labelled stand-ins, but those stand-ins should remain identifiable in the brief and presentation.

Ask about source, content and deployment

For a prototype, ask which editable source and state descriptions the next builder receives. For a working page, ask how the actual content, responsive layouts and promised controls will be checked. Keep hosting and maintenance responsibilities visible instead of assuming they are included with the design. If a feature depends on a future service, describe the boundary and the available behaviour now rather than presenting a fake success result.

Choose a verifiable delivery

Agree on a small set of tasks the recipient can carry out in the delivered form. Include a narrow screen and a keyboard route where relevant, without calling an untested preview certified. Ask how corrections to content and source are handed over. A Sanjiesan creative-partnership enquiry can start with the visitor task and intended environment, making the next commission concrete while keeping unavailable transaction services disabled.
